How would you fill those awkward silences?
Basically my boyfriend walks me to some of my classes and we tend to run out of things to talk about, sometimes even before we start talking. We haven’t been dating very long, & he’s actually my first boyfriend so I’m new to these kind of things. It’s pretty awkward and I always find myself trying to think of what we can talk about & I don’t think of anything until i’m already at my class and it’s too late. So I was thinking I need a pre-made ‘talking topics list’ in my head. Any suggestions?

You should probably find a new boyfriend. Awkwardness can be expected when you first start dating, but if the relationship is weird and even a simple conversation needs to be forced, then you probably should see other people.

Aww, this is cute. It kind of depends on whether you just want to engage in idle chit-chat or an actual conversation.
Some random things you could talk about:
Random people you see walking past
What classes you have coming up (teachers, homework, etc)
Any interesting news stories or events that are happening in your local area
What you’re doing on the weekend.
Or, if you want to find out a bit more about each other:
What cartoon character best describes you?
If you could live anywhere in the world for a year, where would it be?
If you knew could you try anything and not fail, what dream would you attempt?
What super-power would you most like to have, and why?
Hope this helps, good luck
While you’re waiting for answers, could you please take a look at my question? I’d really appreciate it

kay, this is what i do, i just hold his hand as we are walking and i would say something like this:
“How is your day so far?”
“I love {this color} On you:)”
“Do you have any homework so far?” (If no, “maybe we could hang out tonight?”)
“You look very (whatever word fits your relationship on how far you have gotten if you have only kissed or something you might want to say “you look very cute or nice today” if you have majorly made out before etc you might want to say something like “you look very sexy today”)
etc. compliments are good and questions start good conversation(: or something funny
Good luck(:
Other Questions
- What would an interesting fantasy plot be? A boring one?
- What would be a nice birthday gift for a young man in his late teens?
- SURVEY: What would be something funny to put in a get well/cheer up type of card?
- What would be a cool and interesting topic to do for a oral report? (can be anything)?
- What would be a nice outfit to wear to a summer cookout/surprise party without looking over dressed?

I just say random stuff. “Penis” is a good one.
His response is “what?” you go “I dunno felt like saying it” he laughs and bam you start talking about something..
Always worked for me
