Would it be weird for a girl to wear a tie to school?
I have 2 ties, one plain red one and one Ravenclaw tie (from Harry Potter). My mom thinks it’s weird for me to wear a tie (especially the Harry Potter one), but what do you think? I want to be able to wear them around, like to the mall or to school, etc, but I don’t want to if it would look stupid.

it can look cute, or stupid depending what you wear it with.
i wouldnt really wear it to the mall, but i guess you can wear it to school.
i would say wear the red one with a really cute blazer and super cute jeans to make it more casual.

Hey! (: I’m female and i have to wear a tie to school, because of ‘school uniform’ and it is horrible. It looks really silly and stupid. I think if you don’t have to wear a tie then you shouldn’t. And by the sounds of it you don’t even have school uniform? I think sometimes ties look nice, but not as a casual item on girls, i thinks it is silly :/ I used to wear a tie out of school, just casually and looking back at it now i looked like a right douche.

it’s alright, but only when worn in a right way. some girls at my school wear ties and they don’t look like a mess.
