Would like to move from NJ to Florida or NC. What are some nice areas?
I am 22 years old, female and I’ve lived in South Jersey my whole life. I have always wanted to move down south somewhere and I have family in both states. I really want to move within the next 8 months or so once I save up some money. What are some nice places in Florida? Is Boca Raton really expensive? What about Fort Lauderdale or Raleigh, NC? Any information about Florida/North Carolina would be great. Thanks!

For Florida, Boca Raton is a bit pricey and you can get the same thing a bit cheaper in another nearby city, like Wellington, Coral Springs, Deerfield Beach, Royal Palm Beach, or Boynton Beach. The major parts of these communities are good places to live. Over in Fort Lauderdale, there are some shabby areas and some good areas, and it’s more hit and miss. A word of advice…I’d pass on anything located along and near Interstate 95. Think westward.
